The service
EcomComply India is a free automated readiness tool provided by Social Wits. It scans a representative sample of a website and reports observations against a configured set of Indian rules, guidelines and ecommerce practices.
Not legal advice
Reports are informational only. They are not legal advice, a legal opinion, or a certification of any kind, and must not be relied upon as such.
Permitted use
You may submit only websites you own or are authorised to audit. You may not use the tool to scan websites abusively, at high volume, or to attempt access to non-public areas of any website.
Accuracy and limits
Automated scanning of a limited page sample cannot detect everything. Results may be incomplete or incorrect, and findings marked “Unable to Verify” mean we could not gather sufficient evidence. Social Wits accepts no liability for decisions made based on a report.
Changes
We may update the tool, the rule set, and these terms at any time.
